We Form Long-Term Partnerships to Secure Your Legacy

We understand the joys, challenges and occasional headaches business owners experience every day.

Our goal is to ensure business owners receive a fair and stress-free exit that acknowledges their hard work and dedication by investing our own hard-earned capital.

We are not a private equity fund, who are thinking about their exit as soon as we invest. Nor are we hands-on operators ready to take day-to-day operational control as soon as you sell your business.

At EMC, we offer a long-term partnership with the team you leave behind to position your company and its people for success over the long-term.

We Take a Personalised Approach to Every Transaction

Our mission is to provide business owners with the best possible outcome, and we understand that every situation is unique.

When you work with us, we start by getting to know you and your business. We then take the time to understand your goals, your vision for your business, and what is important to you. We know that every business has a story, and we are committed to preserving the legacy of the businesses we partner with.

Once we have a good understanding of your business and what you are looking to achieve, we will work with you to create a customised solution that meets your needs.  Without any outside investors, we can be flexible in our approach and work with you to buy your business outright, help you take “some chips off the table” or help you own the business you run.

We’re in it for the long haul. We buy companies with the intention of holding them for decades, not just a few years. This means we are under no pressure to complete transactions on a specific timeline. When you are ready, so are we.

We Don’t Make Investments, We Make Commitments

Our approach is based on trust, integrity, and respect. If you sell your company to us, we want you to be as proud of your company in the future as you are today.

To do so, we will work with and support your existing management team to retain your values and build upon the history and reputation you have already established. We want you to see your company continue to thrive under our ownership.

Once we shake hands to buy a business, we commit to holding ourselves to the highest standards of integrity and by making small, incremental improvements every day over decades we aim to deliver and create a lasting success for our companies and their people.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly and approachable partner to work with. We understand the importance of open communication. We are always available to offer the team guidance and support, and we work together to drive long-term growth and stability for your business.

We Acquire Profitable Manufacturing and Engineering Businesses

Our passion lies in the thousands of small manufacturing and engineering businesses that make up the bedrock of our economy. We are looking to work with established and profitable companies with a strong position in their niche markets, with a particular focus on companies in the surface engineering and fleet installation sectors.

We want to work with people we can trust and who would benefit from our experience and expertise managing manufacturing and engineering businesses in the UK. With our patient, permanent capital, we aim to develop long-term relationships with business owners who care deeply about their company and want to transition ownership with minimal disruption to their employees, customers, and the community they serve.

If you believe we may be a good fit for you, we would be delighted to speak with you.
